Hey! This story will have four parts. Enjoy!
“Good morning, Kate,” Clara said. “Guess what? I think Jack was cheating. May I talk to you about it in your home?”
“Certainly,” said Kate, “please explain it to me. You’re such a dear, Clara.”
They walked into Kate’s treehouse. Clara was a warrior and a spy. She is using her spy skills to trick the Forest Fairies right now. The Forest Fairies include Diana, Kate, and the all-powerful Queen Valerie. Well, Queen Valerie isn’t a queen anymore. But she still has a lot of power.
“I swear that I saw Jack running through the Mystical Forest. I’m pretty sure he collected Magic Leaves.”
“Oh dear,” sighed Kate. “Thanks for your report. I’m going to talk to him.”
“Yeah,” said Clara. “I’m going to go now. Bye!”
Clara walked down the steps, jotting notes in her notebook.
“And Kate wears a red dress, Diana wears a blue one… and Valerie wears a green one…” Clara muttered to herself.
Now, to understand the story more, I should tell you about a few more things. Jack is an expert warrior, also Clara’s enemy. The next thing is about the Pink Crystal. Whoever even just touches the Pink Crystal becomes queen/king of the Forest. Currently, the queen is Miranda M. She stole the crystal from a pirate named Greenbeard. Yes, Greenbeard. Greenbeard and his army of terrifying pirates are destroying the world. Oh, and Miranda is best friends with Jack. And the friend of your enemy is also considered your enemy. Well, Jack isn’t evil or anything like that, he’s just mean.
Anyways, back to our story. Clara walked over to the coffee shop. “Just getting a donut or two,” she said as she walked in.
“Yeah,” said Samantha. Samantha was Clara’s best friend. “Getting that ready. Oh, right, you might be surprised about who you have to sit with today.”
Clara eyed Samantha and then looked for a spot in the shop. There was only one seat left, in at a dirty table near the dumpster. And, if things weren’t worse already, Jack was sitting over there. Clara groaned and grabbed the spot next to him.
“Looks like I wasn’t the only person with just one option,” Clara jokes as she wipes her chair. “Jack? Since when have you been working here- on trash duty?”
“Listen, Clara,” Jack said. “I’d rather eat this trash than sit with you.”
“Oh, really? I’d like to see that. I’ll move to another spot if you do it.”
Samantha came by and laughed. “Would you two please stop bickering? You guys remind me of my little brothers,” Samantha chuckled as she placed Clara’s chocolate donut on the table.
“Shut your mouth, Sammy,” Jack snapped. He rolled his eyes as he dropped a few cake crumbs onto Samantha’s feet. Then, he grabbed his cup of coffee and spilled it on the floor. “You better clean that up, Sam. Oh, and get me another coffee, will you?”
Samantha was furious. “Yes, I certainly will, Jack. I’ll get you a coffee you’ll never forget,” she said under her breath.
“What was that, Sammy?” asked Jack. Sammy didn’t reply. Instead, she just walked away.
Clara silently finished her donut and left the coffee shop. She had a busy day ahead of her. She lived in a cave but had turned it into a magnificent mansion. As she was sitting on her couch, she remembered she never paid Samantha for the donut. Clara rushed to the coffee shop.
“May I help you, ma’am?” said a man behind the counter.
“Is Samantha here?” asked Clara.
“No, sorry. She left a few minutes ago.”
“Oh,” Clara sighed. “I forgot to give you this.”
She placed a few dollars on the counter and left the coffee shop. She had a long day ahead of her.
The next morning, Clara woke up, brushed her teeth, and went to the coffee shop. “Hey, Sam, what’s up?” Clara said as she walked in. A few regulars waved to her.
“Hi, Clara! You won’t believe this!” Samantha smiled. She handed a coupon for a cup of coffee half off.
“Oh, thanks,” Clara laughed. “But I do believe you. Okay, can I use this coupon for a coffee, please?”
“Coming right up!” Samantha replied. “Why don’t you go take a seat?”
Luckily, the coffee shop had a handful of unoccupied seats today. Clara sat down and got her notebook out. She started reading her notes when a man came over to her and placed her coffee on the table. She sipped her coffee slowly and when she was done, she went over to the counter and handed 1 dollar to Sam. “Samantha! Do you want to hang out with me today when your shift is over?” asked Clara.
“Sure! That would be fun!”
Clara walked out and headed to the center of the town. Then, she grabbed a newspaper from a basket and placed a few coins in the tip jar. The headline read, “GREENBEARD RETURNS! QUEEN MIRANDA HAS TAKEN NO ACTION YET.”
Clara gasped. Putting the scrunched-up newspaper in her pocket, she rushed to the top of Mystical Hill. From here, she could see the Mystical Forest, the battlegrounds, and the Queen’s castle. She also saw two big ships approaching the shore. One of them had a flag with a skull and emeralds. Oh no, Clara thought. This can’t be good.
Clara drank the last sip of coffee, put on her magical wings, and flew to the shore. She took out her sword.

“Greenbeard!” screamed Clara. “It’s you again!”
“Yes. Yes, I am back,” Greenbeard grins. “Your city will be mine, Clara. The Pink Crystal will be mine. And there is nothing you can do about it! Nothing!“
Clara yelled and jerked her sword at Greenbeard. He dodged it and they started to fight. Suddenly, Jack leaped onto Greenbeard.
“You’re messing with the wrong town, Greenbeard!” Jack yelled.
The Forest Fairies rushed over and handled the situation. Greenbeard lurched into the sea.
Diana told everyone she was leaving and left for Mira’s castle.
“Mira!” Diana yelled. “Did you even notice Greenbeard?”
Mira turns around. She looks like she just woke up. “Yes,” said Mira, “And I’m rooting for him.”
